Ronaldo hopes Carlo Ancelotti ‘can fix’ the problems for Brazil, is cheering on Inter in the Champions League Final against Paris Saint-Germain and calls Massimo Moratti ‘the best person I met in football.’
The Brazilian legend was back on Italian soil to attend the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix this afternoon at Imola.
He spoke to reporters from Sky Sports in both Italy and the UK, where he was pressed on his thoughts about Italian coach Ancelotti taking over the Seleçao job from next month.
Ronaldo welcomes Ancelotti to Brazil job

“It’s great, he is an amazing coach. We have a lot of problems in Brazil right now, but for sure we have a great manager now,” said Ronaldo.
Ancelotti’s first task will be getting Brazil to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the USA, Mexico and Canada.
“Brazil haven’t won the World Cup for a long time. It’s not easy, as we are not playing well right now. Ancelotti is a great manager and maybe he can fix this.”
“I hope Inter win!” 😁

Ronaldo really made his mark at Inter, where he earned the nickname Il Fenomeno, but also suffered his most serious injuries.
He has no doubts who he is cheering on in the Champions League Final between Inter and Paris Saint-Germain on May 31.
“Great, great Final. I have a great relationship with Inter, I hope Inter can win, but PSG are a great team playing very well. I hope for Inter,” said Ronaldo.

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, he revealed that he had flown in specially for ex-Inter President Massimo Moratti’s surprise 80th birthday party.
“I am here thanks to Moratti, as I came just for him. He is the best person I ever met in the world of football, so I really wanted to be here. And now I am here for this Grand Prix.
“As for the Champions League Final, all I can say is that I hope for the best. I see Inter with a really big chance of winning, because they are playing so well. The semi-final with Barcelona nearly gave me a heart attack, but we did it!
“It’s going to be a tough Final, as PSG are playing well and have a great coach like Luis Enrique. Inter have tradition in this competition, so we hope to win.”

Ronaldo was a human highlight reel… We will never forget 97-98, Il Campionato Avvelenato!
