Ronaldo offered to Milan, Napoli and Sporting in Manchester United escape

Cristiano Ronaldo is so desperate to leave Manchester United and play in the Champions League that his agent offered him to Milan and Napoli as well as Sporting CP, claim Sky Sport Italia.

The former Juventus man risks being left out of Europe’s top tier club competition for the first time in decades and is trying everything he can to leave Old Trafford, just a year after moving there from the Bianconeri.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, this has seen agent Jorge Mendes contact numerous clubs in a bid to find him a new solution, including Milan and Napoli.

Of the two, the Partenopei are more likely to be interested, although they already have so many strikers with the arrival of Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, Giacomo Raspadori and Giovanni Simeone this summer.

However, it would only realistically be plausible if Napoli sold Victor Osimhen first and this late in the day that seems improbable.

Jorge Mendes also represents Milan winger Rafael Leao, who has received an approach from Chelsea, so this is why Ronaldo was proposed to the San Siro giants as part of a wider scheme.

Again, they do not seem to be particularly interested in the idea of signing CR7.

There are very few options left for Ronaldo, but he still has hope of getting a move to Chelsea, Olympique Marseille or his old club Sporting Lisbon.

Caught Offside had reported today that Ronaldo was on the verge of a move to Sporting, but Manchester United are resisting.
