As Cristiano Ronaldo gets ready for Manchester United, Juventus reportedly ask Real Madrid for Eden Hazard on loan.

The Portugal international emptied his locker this morning, waved goodbye to Juve for the last time and his private jet landed in Lisbon this afternoon at circa 16.10 UK time.

After initial Manchester City interest was abandoned, Manchester United dived in with a proposal worth €25m plus €3m bonuses, with a conference call going on right now for his comeback to Old Trafford.

Juventus need a replacement and Mundo Deportivo suggest that they have requested Eden Hazard on loan from Real Madrid.

The former Chelsea man never quite gave his best following the €115m transfer in 2019 and suffered from a series of injuries.

This would be only a loan, so a cheaper alternative, but still a huge salary to be covered.

Hazard’s exit would also help pave the way for Real Madrid to raise their offer to PSG for Kylian Mbappé.

  1. If this is true, then we can finally get a much-needed playmaker in the final third of the pitch in the person of Eden Hazard. Great news.

  2. We just got rid of one prima donna – we don’t need another one, particularly one that his past their prime, injury prone and on inflated wages. When Sarri coached him at Chelsea he said he was lazy at training and was not a leader. No thanks!!
