Ronaldo revealed how former Milan President Silvio Berlusconi would give odd tactical instructions to the team. “It’s so easy to score from a corner!”
The Brazilian striker spoke to the Financial Times newspaper and discussed the hands-on approach that Berlusconi took to running the club.
This included regularly entering the dressing room before and after games, while trying to show his knowledge of the sport.
“Why did you never make a goal from the corner? It’s so easy,” Ronaldo claimed Berlusconi said.

“Why did you never make a goal from the corner? It’s so easy,” Ronaldo claimed Berlusconi said.
“Put everybody outside the area and when he kicks it, everybody go into the penalty box!”
However, much like the version of events given by Carlo Ancelotti and others who worked at Milan, Berlusconi was made to feel more essential than he really was.
“When Silvio said something, everybody said, ‘OK, we will do it.’ But after that we came back to our way.”
Berlusconi is now back in football as the President of Serie C side Monza, with Adriano Galliani as CEO and Coach Cristian Brocchi.
