Manchester City are increasingly a realistic proposition for Cristiano Ronaldo, if they can agree an exchange deal with Juventus for Bernardo Silva.

Agent Jorge Mendes surprisingly flew into Turin this afternoon with a private jet, going straight to Ronaldo’s house.

It’s reported he is there for emergency negotiations with the player, presenting the options, and then passing on those developments to Juventus.

PSG are looking elsewhere even if Kylian Mbappé does leave for Real Madrid, so Manchester City are the only real alternative.

It’s widely reported City won’t pay the €30m asking price, but can be open to a player exchange, if they can agree on the man in question.

Juventus would be interested in Gabriel Jesus, although Bernardo Silva might be a more likely name both can come to a deal on.

Manchester City are open to this now that Harry Kane has declared he is staying at Tottenham Hotspur.

Sky Sport Italia report that the Premier League champions would also only offer €15m per season wages, approximately half his current package in Turin.

With the transfer deadline day on August 31, it gives them very little time to work out the details of such a big operation.

Ronaldo is 36 years old, but won the Capocannoniere title last season with 29 goals in 33 Serie A matches.

Times Sport also confirm the reports from earlier in the week that Ronaldo and agent Jorge Mendes are trying to push for a Manchester City transfer.

5 thought on “Ronaldo and Mendes present Man City plan to Juventus”
  1. That’s a good deal for both parts. Juve gets a very solid player in return and City gets the goal scorer they desperately need right now.

  2. ronaldo going out kind of sad. he has to half his wages to 15mil. but the thing that has me is that he hated playing sarriball. what does he think Pep plays. this has the recipe of a disaster. Pep doesn’t care who you are. if you not doing what he wants he will leave you on the bench. just look what happened to ibra. as a juve fan i dont mind getting his 31m wage off the books. if juve get back talented young players like bernardo silva or g.jesus its a win

  3. I think it will be best he leaves. He’s lost interest in playing for Juve. I hope Juve can get Icardi to replace him. That will make more sense
