Ronaldinho has threatened to back out of their trip to Bolivia for the Copa Libertadores in protest at the financial situation.

Corinthians remain the favourites to sign Dinho, but agent Roberto De Assis has hinted that Genoa have put forward an intriguing proposal.

It would be a return to Serie A, as he played for Milan from 2008 to January 2011.

Genoa have already revolutionised their squad during the last month, bringing in Alberto Gilardino, Davide Biondini and Coach Pasquale Marino.
