Premier League outfit Blackburn Rovers told the BBC yesterday that they had also launched a bid to sign the former World Player of the Year.

However, La Gazzetta understands that the player's agent met with Gremio's Vice-President Antonio Vicente Martinez for a second time.

"Between Gremio and Ronaldinho the agreement is total," said club President Paulo Odone.

The pink paper claims that the Porto Alegre based side have offered Ronaldinho a four-year contract worth $1m a month.

Ronaldinho will apparently earn a base rate of $300,000 with an extra $700,000 tied to profits from image rights.
