There was some tension in the first half when Lazio striker Muriqi had a goal disallowed for offside.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma defender Juan Jesus was in the stands and reacted celebrating excessively and trolling Tare, who was not too far away from him.

The Lazio director was sitting close to President Claudio Lotito and left his place to argue with the Brazilian defender.

They spoke for a few seconds and solved the problem before Tare retook his seat, explaining to Lotito what had happened.

Lazio can’t qualify for the Champions League anymore, while Roma boosted their chances of playing the UEFA Conference League next season, when José Mourinho will be in charge.

The Special One celebrated Roma’s victory with a message on Instagram last night.
