According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma and Lazio have inquired about the availability of Mattia Zaccagni who is being linked with Milan and Inter too.

The 25-year-old has three goals and four assists in 14 Serie A appearances with Hellas Verona so far this season.

His contract with the Gialloblu expires in June 2022, but according to reports in Italy he could leave the Bentegodi before that date.

Milan and Inter are being linked with a move for the Italian midfielder but La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests the Rome clubs are those who have taken the most concrete steps to sign Zaccagni.

A direct contact has been made with Hellas’ president Maurizio Setti who has placed a €10m price-tag on the player who could leave Verona in the winter transfer window.
