Jose Mourinho was the hero of Inter’s Treble winning campaign a decade ago but now he’s hoping to pick up his first career win against the Nerazzurri with Roma.

The Portuguese coach spent two years in charge of the Milanese club from 2008 to 2010, guiding the team to two Scudetti, a Coppa Italia, a Supercoppa Italiana and a Champions League title. His  work saw Inter become the first Italian side to ever win the Treble in the 2009-10 season, forever writing him into the club’s history books.

Mourinho has only ever faced Inter three times in his career, all of which came last season with Roma. These three games were not particularly positive for the Portuguese coach, who suffered losses in all three meetings – 3-0 and 3-1 in the league and 2-0 in the Coppa Italia.

The Giallorossi have started the season fairly well under Mourinho and now he’s hoping to finally taste victory against his former club this weekend.
