On from director Mauro Baldissoni's statements yesterday saying that the Coach was not the only one whose career was at risk, sources are now painting a clearer picture of what the future of the team could be.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Garcia will be looking to resign from the Giallorossi bench should his team fail to qualify for next year's Champions League, with Sampdoria's Sinisa Mihajlovic – who defeated the Lupi 2-0 last Monday – touted as a successor.

Il Tempo also reports that Sabatini is in the same predicament, and will sign his resignation should the team not meet its seasonal objectives.

In the meantime, Garcia reportedly attempted to shake the team from its stupor yesterday by talking to the players in the locker room.

Reports on the contents of the meeting vary, with la Gazzetta dello Sport claiming that the Coach coolly asked his team not to give up, and newspaper Leggo claiming that the Coach castigated the team for their poor performances and hurled chairs around the locker room.

Il Corriere della Sera relates that captain Francesco Totti also spoke in the meeting, stressing that two or three games would be sufficient to turn the bad moment around.
