Roma have failed to win any of their six games played against the top teams in the Serie A table so far this season.

They picked up draws against Milan, Juventus, Sassuolo and Hellas Verona, although the Gialloblu have then received a 3-0 win as Amadou Diawara had not been registered on the senior player list despite having turned 23.

The Capitolines also lost to Napoli and Atalanta. Overall, they only managed six goals scored, conceding 13.

Roma seem to be following the trend of the last year and a half as they’ve only won three games from 17 against the League’s top sides since the Portuguese tactician arrived in the capital in summer 2019.

They beat Juventus at the Allianz Stadium this past August, Milan at the Stadio Olimpico, on October 2019, and Napoli, always at home, on November of the same year.
