Andrea Belotti has not had the biggest impact since his arrival at Roma and has now suffered a thigh injury, forcing him to the sidelines.

The 28-year-old Italian forward ended a seven-year association with Torino in the summer, joining the Giallorossi on a free transfer and penning a one-year contract with an option for a further two years. Belotti has not been given consistent playing time since his arrival in the Italian capital, only starting two Serie A matches.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Belotti was forced to stop during a Roma training session due to pains in his right thigh. He initially suffered the issue during a match with Torino a month ago and it’s again forced him to the sidelines.

It’s a frustrating stop for the Italian forward, who was hoping to finally flex his muscles and show his best in the second half of this season. Belotti will now carry out physical therapy, desperate to work off the injury for good and return to action.
