The Giallorossi are 5-2 down from the Champions League first leg at Anfield, but they overturned a 4-1 deficit to Barça in the quarter-finals.

“I’m very happy to be in the semi-finals,” Gandini said as he and director general Mauro Baldissoni arrived for lunch with their Liverpool counterparts.

“A Barcelona-style comeback? I can’t say, I don’t have a crystal ball. I’m sure it will be a great match.”

Liverpool fan Sean Cox is still in a coma after an alleged assault by Roma fans ahead of the first leg, but thankfully there does not seem to have been any trouble in the city so far.
