La Gazzetta dello Sport has reported today that the Giallorossi defender has targeted the Rossoneri as his destination of choice and that the player’s desire could have a significant effect on negotiations.

Milan have set their final offer for the Italy Under-21 international at €25m while Roma continue to demand €30m, but Napoli and Chelsea are also reportedly poised to launch bids for the 20-year-old.

Gazzetta believes that the Rossoneri are likely to stand by their final offer of €25m, with the hope that the player’s desire to join them will see Roma drop their high demands before the end of the transfer window.
