Alessio Romagnoli made his comeback in a 0-0 draw with Bologna and insists the whole Milan squad must take responsibility for the lack of goals.

The stalemate at the Stadio Dall’Ara had precious few scoring opportunities, even after Tiemoue Bakayoko was sent off.

“It was not a great performance, not much movement and it’s the fault of everyone. It’s a pity, we wanted to play well, but we’ll make up for it on Saturday,” the defender told Sky Sport Italia.

“If the forwards don’t score, it’s not their fault, it’s the fault of everyone for not giving them the right service. We moved it around well, but then as soon as we got up there, we were missing something.”

Milan are still in fourth place, but it’s another poor result after their Europa League exit to Olympiacos.

“Our objective is to give all our ourselves, we’ve got a game per week for the rest of the season and we have to focus on Serie A.”
