Alessio Romagnoli will not be available for Milan against Bologna this evening due to a thigh injury, forcing a change in defence.
It kicks off at San Siro at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).
Romagnoli is the captain and had been expected to start this evening for the Serie A leaders.
However, he will not even be on the bench after he was diagnosed with an inflammation of the adductors in his left thigh.
Simon Kjaer and Tiemoue Bakayoko are also out of action, so Pierre Kalulu should step in to partner Fikayo Tomori.
This is also looking like the partnership of the future, as Romagnoli will be out of contract on June 30 and is widely expected not to extend his deal.
He has been heavily linked with a move to Lazio, the club he has always supported since childhood, even though he spent time in the Roma academy and squad.
