Alessio Romagnoli urged Milan to “win every game and hope other results go our way” in the fight for Champions League football.
The 1-0 victory at Fiorentina was the Rossoneri’s first away Serie A clean sheet since January at Genoa and keeps them within three points of Atalanta and that fourth Champions League spot.
“We have to focus on winning every game, then we’ll see what happens,” the captain told DAZN.

“It was a great performance tonight, especially in the first half, while we defended well in the second. We have to win both remaining matches and hope some other results go our way.”
Next weekend could well be decisive, as Atalanta have their toughest test remaining – a trip to Juventus just days after the Coppa Italia Final with Lazio.
Tiemoue Bakayoko returned to the starting XI after his touchline row with Coach Gennaro Gattuso.
“The papers like to create all sorts of stories, but we are all concentrated only on playing,” added Romagnoli.
