Milan captain Alessio Romagnoli was not in the squad for the Inter match due to a thigh injury, but should be back after the international break.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the centre-back, who struggles with an adductor problem, will recover in time to be in contention for the trip to Fiorentina on November 20.
The 26-year-old has played 11 times across all competitions in 2021-22, including eight games in Serie A, but was not in the squad for the Derby della Madonnina on Sunday.
The newspaper reports the recovery times are still being evaluated, but it’s likely that the Rossoneri captain will be back in action after the international break.
It ended in a 1-1 draw between Milan and Inter at San Siro, when Inter forward Hakan Calhanoglu scored against his former team.
The Diavolo thus restored their seven-point lead over third-placed Inter and sit tied with Napoli on 32 points from 12 Serie A games this term.
