“Mihajlovic knows him well,” the midfielder reminded Milan Channel, as the Coach worked with Romagnoli at Sampdoria.

“Mihajlovic knows him well,” the midfielder reminded Milan Channel, as the Coach worked with Romagnoli at Sampdoria.
“If he wanted him so much it’s because he knows he’ll be very useful. We’ll do everything to help him integrate as soon as possible.
“I know him from our time at Roma, he’s a great signing.”
Bertolacci also gave his assessment of Mihajlovic, and admits it’s taking time to adjust to the Serbian’s methods.
“When there’s a new Coach, it’s normal that things take time. The Coach asks us to keep possession and swap positions a lot.
“Over time we’ll learn all of the systems the Coach wants. Mihajlovic is very demanding, he demands great intensity from us.
“Football has become about physicality and dynamism, and the preparation we’re doing will help us a lot.
“Apart from the Audi Cup where we weren’t convincing, we’ve shown a willingness to return to being the Milan of years gone by. We want to do well.
“We’re disappointed to have taken a step back after the games against Inter and Real [Madrid], but now we have to think about regaining the rhythm we had in China.
“The workload and the tour of China definitely affected us, but I wouldn’t want to look for excuses. The important thing is to be ready for the first official match, in the Coppa Italia.
“We’ve been working together for a month now, and we’re finishing our preparation. The important thing is to be ready for competitive matches.”
