Zaniolo injured the left knee against Holland, only eight months after a ruptured ACL in the right knee.

The newspaper reports the Giallorossi starlet continues his rehabilitation programme and is responding very well to the treatment.

This morning he took a private flight from Ciampino to Innsbruck for a visit to Professor Fink, the surgeon who operated him in September.

The medical visit is essential to kick off the next step in his recovery programme and the check-up was already postponed for one month due to the coronavirus pandemic.

This afternoon, Zaniolo will return to the Italian capital and the report claims, if everything goes well, the 21-year-old could possibly start running again in a month.
