Roma would only release Mattia Destro with a mandatory buy-out clause, so Milan are stepping aside, it’s claimed.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Rossoneri are pulling out of the race to sign the centre-forward.

Destro’s agent Claudio Vigorelli met with Roma director Walter Sabatini today to discuss the options in this January transfer window.

It’s reported the club will only let Destro go on a loan deal if the buy-out clause at the end of the season is mandatory.
