Chievo boss Stefano Pioli expects Roma to present his side with a tough test when they meet on Saturday.

The 45-year-old tactician is mindful that his opponents are looking to bounce back after they suffered a 3-1 defeat to Palermo last weekend.

"I believe that Roma are the Italian team with the best technical ability," Pioli said.

"Roma have great players available to them and what's more they are coming off a bad defeat against Palermo, so it will be even tougher for us."

Reflecting on the FIGC's decision to reschedule their postponed match with Bologna for December 8, Pioli said: "Three games in a week will be a notable effort, even more so in this weather if we consider the heavy pitches which we have to play on.

"It will not be simple. We'll need everyone's contribution to bring home something important," he concluded.
