There have been ongoing empty-stadium protests from both Giallorossi and Lazio Ultras throughout the season after new security measures meant barriers were installed in the Curva Nord and Sud.
Today the Ultras released a statement stating that the sector will remain empty for next week’s Coppa Italia clash with Spezia.
"It wouldn’t make sense to enter the stadium in another sector after fighting for months for our Curva,” read the statement.
“It wouldn’t make sense because nothing has changed. We will return to the stadium only when everything is like it was before.
“We will return to the stadium through the front door, as protagonists in our Curva. To come back now in another sector would be a compromise that we will never accept.
“So in Roma-Spezia the Curva Sud will stay at home! We’re still waiting for a signal from our club."
