According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Leonardo Spinazzola’s future at Roma remains uncertain even if José Mourinho wants him to stay, but seven other players are on the market.
The Italy international’s contract expires in June 2024 and Mourinho doesn’t want to part ways with him.
According to the report, Spinazzola has been targeted by French and Saudi clubs and would consider leaving the Stadio Olimpico only for a big-money offer. Spinazzola currently gets €3m per season in the capital and his priority is to remain at Roma to play in the 2024 EURO.
There are, however, other players that the Special One would like to sell to raise funds for new signings.
Roma will reportedly listen to offers for Roger Ibanez, Eldor Shomurodov, Matias Vina, Ola Solbakken, Rick Karsdorp, Gonzalo Villar and Bryan Reynolds.
Roma haven’t yet spent a penny in the summer transfer window, signing Houssem Aouar and Evan N’Dicka on free transfers, Diego Llorente and Rasmus Kristensen on loan from Leeds United.
They are in talks with Atletico Madrid for Alvaro Morata, but can’t afford to pay his €21m clause.
