Roma are looking to close out various deals this week as they work strengthen Jose Mourinho’s squad ahead of the new season.

Gianluca Di Marzio details how Giallorossi director Tiago Pinto is pushing to welcome some new signings in the coming days, starting with Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata.

The Colombian could arrive on a loan deal with a conditional obligation to buy clause attached, linked to 50% appearances. Talks are now ongoing to agree personal terms.

For the midfield, Roma are working on a double deal with Paris Saint-Germain for Renato Sanches and Leandro Paredes. Both have turned down other offers as they wait for a move to the Italian capital and talks between the two clubs are constant as they work to finalise proceedings.

Finally, Roma haven’t given up on Santos talent Marcos Leonardo just yet. Agent Rafaela Pimenta went to Brazil to try and unblock talks and Santos could raise the price tag on the striker.
