The Turkey Under-21 international is seen as one of his country’s brightest defensive prospects and helped Genclerbirligi win promotion back to the top flight last season.

He will be joined at the Olimpico by compatriot Cengiz Under, who signed a new contract on Thursday, although his arrival should not affect the Lupi’s planned purchase of Dejan Lovren.
