Cicinho, signed from Real Madrid in August 2007 for around €11m, has appeared in just two Serie A games this term for a total of 95 minutes.
The 31-year-old has had his struggles in the Italian capital and he’s been sent out on loan to Sao Paulo and Villarreal during his time as a Giallorosso.
If Roma release the South American then he would be able to join a new club for no transfer fee – and the capital side would be able to save on his wages.
