Roma are reportedly ready to make an offer very close to Leicester’s €40m asking price for Riyad Mahrez.
The Giallorossi have already had one bid rejected for the winger, who they see as an ideal replacement for Mohamed Salah.
According to Il Messaggero, sporting director Monchi is determined to secure the Algerian international, and will make a new offer which will come very close to the €40m asking price.

It’s not clear if this will be cash plus bonuses, but it’s thought the offer could tempt the Foxes, especially given Mahrez has already asked to leave.
If the English side hold firm, alternatives include Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi, Suso of Milan, and Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech.
