Roma are reportedly keen on bringing in Porto and Mexico midfielder Hector Herrera.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, Herrera – whose contract expires in 12 months – is ‘a real and concrete objective’ for Roma this summer.
Consequently, if the Giallorossi are unable to negotiate a deal for the 28-year-old now, the transfer expert believes they will try to secure the player for the 2018-19 campaign.

Herrera has made almost 200 appearances for Porto since arriving from Pachuca in 2014, winning his first Portuguese title last season.
He also has an Olympic gold medal with Mexico and is representing his country at the World Cup, while he was linked with Napoli two years ago.
