Roma aren’t just in talks for Genoa striker Eldor Shomurodov, but also want Alexander Sorloth from RB Leipzig, claim Sky Sport Italia.

Multiple sources are confident negotiations are going well with Genoa for Uzbekistan international Shomurodov, with the €15m offer not too far off the €20m asking price.

However, Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Angelo Mangiante insists he is by far the only possible addition in attack for Jose Mourinho.

It seems Roma are also in talks with RB Leipzig for 25-year-old Norway international Sorloth.

A very different forward to Shomurodov, he is 1.94m tall (circa 6ft 4in), so can be compared more to Edin Dzeko.

He has 11 goals in 32 senior caps for Norway, while he found the net six times in 37 competitive games for RB Leipzig last season.

The Bundesliga outfit paid €20m to get Sorloth from Crystal Palace in September 2020 and the well-travelled forward also played for Roseborg, Bodo/Glimt, FC Groningen, Midtjylland, KAA Gent and Trabzonspor.
