Roma have set their sights on Ajax youngster Frenkie de Jong, nicknamed the ‘new Frank Rijkaard’ in the Netherlands.
According to Calciomercato.com, director of sport Monchi has pin-pointed De Jong for the future of the Giallorossi.
Aged only 20, the central midfielder can also play as a centre-back when needed.
He already has five Under-21 caps for his country and is under contract with Ajax until June 2022, but local reports suggest he’ll be leaving the club next summer.
