Multiple reports in Italy claim Roma striker Nicolò Zaniolo will fly to Istanbul today to undergo his medical with Galatasaray.
The 23-year-old has agreed to terms with the Turkish side and will complete his transfer today, reports in Italy claim.
Gazzetta, Corriere della Sera and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano report Zaniolo will fly to Turkey on Tuesday afternoon.
The deal is worth €20-22m and Zaniolo will sign a four-year contract with a release clause in the region of €35m.
The Italy international asked to leave Roma in January but snubbed an offer from Bournemouth, who had placed the only bid accepted by the Giallorossi in the winter transfer window.
Zaniolo was frozen out of the team following his request and was not expected to play again for Roma if he stayed at the Stadio Olimpico.
The former Inter and Fiorentina starlet has scored 24 goals in 129 appearances with Roma, including the winner in last season’s Conference League Final against Feyenoord.
