Roma striker Andrea Belotti is reportedly pushing to join Fiorentina, but first they must convince M’Bala Nzola to accept a transfer.

The Giallorossi need to find new clubs for Belotti and Marash Kumbulla to free up room for the arrival of Angeliño from RB Leipzig, via Galatasaray.

Belotti just turned 30 last month and scored six goals with two assists in 22 competitive games for Roma this season.

Yet he only started 10 of those matches and has dropped even further down the pecking order since Daniele De Rossi took over.

According to Sportitalia, Il Gallo has his heart set on the Viola and the feeling is now mutual, after offers for Inter-owned Valentin Carboni and Genoa forward Albert Gudmundsson were rejected over the last 24 hours.

However, they must first find a solution for Nzola and that is proving very tricky indeed.

The former Spezia forward is not convinced by the idea of joining Empoli, while Salernitana, Cagliari and Genoa are seemingly looking at other targets instead.
