It’s reported Roma have struck a deal with LOSC to sign right-back Zeki Celik for €7m plus a percentage of the sell-on fee.

According to Il Tempo newspaper, Sky Sport Italia and Teleradiostereo, another meeting today proved decisive to finalise the basic details of the deal.

The Giallorossi are due to pay €7m cash and give LOSC a 15 per cent cut of any future sell-on fee.

Celik is ready to sign the four-year contract after Monday’s medical tests.

The 25-year-old Turkey international has 32 senior caps for his country, during which he scored two goals.

He had also been linked with Fiorentina and his contract with LOSC is running down to June 2023, so a sale had to be made this summer.

Celik spent his entire career in Turkey, this season contributing three goals and three assists in 40 competitive games.

He is expected to fly in for his medical by the end of next week, with Ebrima Darboe heading to Lille instead on loan as part of the move.

LOSC just announced their new coach is former Roma boss Paulo Fonseca.
