Roma are in the running for Olympique Marseille and France winger Florian Thauvin, according to L’Equipe newspaper.
The 25-year-old is under contract until June 2021 and made a big impact in Ligue 1 last season, scoring 22 goals and 11 assists in 35 games.
He also participated in the 2018 World Cup triumph, but French paper L’Equipe claims he requested a new and improved contract.
Thauvin wants to be on a par with teammates Dimitri Payet and Luiz Gustavo, so his agents are eager to use Roma’s interest as a bargaining tool.
