Davide Frattesi is dreaming of a move to Roma and the Giallorossi are working hard to make that a reality, even if they’ve hit some snags in the negotiations with Sassuolo.

The Giallorossi have been in talks with the Neroverdi for a little while now and things have proved difficult, with Tiago Pinto considering the €35m figure proposed by Giovanni Carnevali to be excessive. He’s not keen to give up, however, and the Roman club have already promised Frattesi a deal would be done.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, the distance between the two parties has narrowed over the last few days but things are not across the line just yet, with a €5m gap that needs to be resolved.

Roma don’t want to pay more than €18m plus a loan deal with a buy option attached involving Cristian Volpato, as well as the possible inclusion of youth prospects like Filippo Missori, Matteo Falasca or Filippo Tripi.

Pinto is planning to try and reach an agreement later this week, keen to add Frattesi to Jose Mourinho’s squad in Rome.

6 thought on “Roma still pushing for Frattesi despite snags”
  1. Roma are struggling to sign players that are openly and willing to join them
I’m beginning to doubt this Pinto guy honestly

  2. Davide Frattesi will be a good buy for roma, however as im a juve fan – please buy arthur from us

  3. This deal is taking forever, Mou loves his new signings in and early to take part in preseason, bearing in mind the winter world cup, Tiago Pinto has to speed up on this one, guess Pinto isn’t so invincible after all.

  4. Why is signing Frattessi is taken too long ? He needs to be ready for next season,he needs preseason under Jose, get the deal done ASAP and also get us a center back. We conceded too many goals last season. Sometimes early goals which do us no good at all. Get Sense now please because we can’t rely on Smalling for next season,a center back is at least needed. Thanks Pinto
