Roma stopper Marquinhos is convinced that his side can still finish third in Serie A this season.
The capital outfit are now joint fifth in the table with Inter and Lazio, but four points adrift of fourth-placed Fiorentina and seven shy of third-placed Milan.
“We need to dream of reaching third,” the Brazilian youngster told Sky Sport Italia following the 2-0 win over Parma. “We know it will be difficult, but we’ll slowly get closer to that target.”
Roma have won four, drawn one and lost one since boss Zdenek Zeman was replaced by Aurelio Andreazzoli.
“He is doing well, like the whole team,” the South American defender added. “We need to continue on this path.”
Roma will play Lazio, Fiorentina, Milan and Napoli before the end of the season.
