According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma star Paulo Dybala no longer feels pain in his ankle and wants to start against La Liga side Sevilla in the Europa League Final tonight.

The Argentinean striker has been dealing with an ankle injury over the last few weeks. However, he trained with the rest of the team on Monday and Tuesday, and according to Il Corriere dello Sport, he doesn’t feel pain in his ankle.

Dybala has had ‘positive feelings’ after this morning’s training session in Budapest, and according to Il Corriere dello Sport, he is pushing to start at the Puskas Arena.

The striker reportedly spoke to José Mourinho this morning, hoping to persuade the Special One to give him a starting spot.

Mourinho said on Tuesday that Dybala could play for 20 or 30 minutes in the Final, insisting that the Argentinean is not fit enough to start.

However, according to CorSport, the Special One is now making his assessments on whether to start Dybala against Sevilla tonight.

Kick-off at the Puskas Arena is at 20:00 GMT+1.
