The mayor of Rome says he’s been assured by James Pallotta that construction on Roma’s new stadium will begin this year.
The Giallorossi have been given permission to begin construction of a new ground and Ignazio Marino says the project will get underway this year.
“The President of Roma, James Pallotta, assured me the first stone will be laid this year,” Marino is reported as saying by ANSA.

“Within the next few weeks we’ll have the implementation plan, we’re working with 20 companies all over the world.
“The stadium is for the fans, and also for the 3000 jobs it will create, starting next year.”
