Stadio della Roma CEO Mark Pannes assured they are on schedule and “will break ground in 2015.”
The club plans to open the new arena for the 2017-18 season.
“It went really well today,” Pannes told the Roma website after a meeting with the Municipality of Rome.
“We have a tremendous collaboration going with the City of Rome. It's always helpful to be able to update the Comune, the Mayor personally and assessor [Giovanni] Caudo.
