Roma full-back Leonardo Spinazzola could remain out of action for three weeks with an adductor injury, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The former Juventus defender was subbed off in the first half of Genoa-Roma on Sunday and could remain on the sidelines for three weeks, according to the report.

Spinazzola had been called up to Italy National team but has been prevented from traveling by the local ASL after Edin Dzeko tested positive for Covid.

Spinazzola had been called up to Italy National team but has been prevented from traveling by the local ASL after Edin Dzeko tested positive for Covid.

The player, however, may not join the national team at all as he is feared to have picked up an adductor injury that still needs to be assessed.

The 27-year-old will undergo medical examination in the coming days but if the extent of the injury will be confirmed, Spinazzola could remain out of action up to three weeks.
