The Dutch side picked up a precious away goal in their Europa League Round of 32 first leg 1-1 draw against the Giallorossi last week, and will be looking to capitalise on it in tomorrow's return match in Rotterdam.

Kazim-Richards, speaking in a Press conference alongside Coach Fred Rutten, said he was aware of the challenges posed by the Italian team.

“I've got the feeling it can be a special night, but playing against Roma isn't going to be easy,” the 28-year-old London-born player stated.

“We came back from Rome with a good result.

“Some of our players were not available, but we played a good game on Sunday [winning 3-2 against Excelsior] and we'll keep following the directives of our Coach.

“This game is important for everyone, and for the club as a whole.

“As for [Roma captain Francesco] Totti, he's a legend. He is a constant threat, but we have players capable of containing him.”

Kazim-Richards also took some time to discuss his relationship with his juniors in Feyenoord.

“I find it flattering to hear that I'm an inspiration to the other players.

“I like to teach our young guns things that I've already learnt.

“There are many young players here and I always insist that the veterans should guide them and relieve them of some of the pressure.”

In closing, the Turkish international was asked what he thought about the supporter clashes in Rome that marred the first leg, but he brushed the question aside.

“I'm focused on the match, I'm a footballer.”
