Roma director Monchi has reportedly given a deadline of midnight August 15 for Leicester City to sell Riyad Mahrez for €35m (£31.8m).
The Giallorossi have seen several offers turned down, the most recent standing at €35m, because the asking price is €40-45m (£36.3-40.9m).
According to Sky Sport Italia, Monchi has lost patience and set an ultimatum for a final answer or they will look elsewhere.
The deadline is midnight on August 15 – next Tuesday – for a positive response or Roma will abandon the negotiations.

It’s suggested the Foxes still haven’t given a formal reply to the latest €35m proposal, so the situation is still in the balance.
Mahrez has repeatedly stated he wants to leave Leicester and would be very interested in a transfer to the Stadio Olimpico.
He cannot begin to negotiate personal terms with the Serie A side until Leicester City have agreed a fee.
The 26-year-old Algeria international scored 10 goals with seven assists in 48 competitive games last season.
Mahrez was decisive in their fairy-tale Premier League winning campaign, netting 17 goals with 10 assists in 37 matches in 2015-16.
