The majority of Roma fans are clearly against the potential sale of Paulo Dybala, and some of them sent a warning to the club right outside the gates of the club’s training ground: ‘Don’t sell!’
Dybala is in advanced talks with Saudi club Al Qadsiah, who have offered the Argentinean a lucrative €20m salary.
La Joya is probably Roma’s best player, but the Giallorossi are pushing for his departure, given that his salary has risen to €7m this season and that 15 more appearances in 2024-25 will allow him to activate a clause to extend for a further campaign.
Most Roma fans on social media are expressing their discontent, and the supporters’ feelings were clearly expressed in a message left outside the Giallorossi’s training ground at Trigoria last night.
The message written on a wall read: “Don’t sell Paulo!”
Roma will make their 2024-25 Serie A debut at Cagliari on Sunday night and Dybala is expected to start on the bench.
The Argentinean joined the Giallorossi on a free transfer in 2022 and has scored 34 goals in 77 appearances in the capital.
