Roma have been in contact with Napoli to discuss a possible deal for out-of-favour winger Cyril Ngonge, and the Giallorossi could be prepared to include Nicola Zalweski as part of a player-plus-cash offer according to Friday’s reports.
Roma explore Ngonge swap deal with Napoli
Both Rome clubs have explored a possible move for Ngonge this week, as Lazio have also contacted Napoli over a possible loan deal. Biancocelesti coach Marco Baroni has already worked with the player at Hellas Verona.
According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma have begun to discuss the possibility of including Zalewski in a swap deal for Ngonge.
A versatile wideman who can be deployed at full-back, wing-back of in the attacking three, Zalewski is a profile of player that Antonio Conte admires.
The same can be said for Ngonge and Daniele De Rossi, as the Belgian has the versatility to cover most roles in Roma’s front three.
Ngonge joined Napoli in January in a permanent deal that raised Verona a fee in the region of €18m.
