Roma sacked Ivan Juric after a 3-2 loss against Bologna at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday. Check out the Football Italia LIVE BLOG with updates and reactions.

Juric only won four games from 12 at Roma and was fired after a 3-2 home loss against Bologna on Sunday. It was an inevitable decision, as the Croat had been under scrutiny for several weeks.

Club owners haven’t yet chosen a successor, but according to Sky Sport Italia, the Giallorossi will appoint a new coach by Wednesday. In the meantime, players have been given two days off.

Several sources say that club owners are relying on the agency CAA Base to hire their new coach, so foreign options like Frank Lampard and Edin Terzic are the leading candidates.

According to Gazzetta, ex-Italy coach Roberto Mancini is the primary option, but other names, such as Rudi Garcia and Massimiliano Allegri, have also been linked with the job at the Stadio Olimpico.

Roma are just four points above the relegation zone in Serie A, and Juric finished his spell at the Olimpico with a points-per-game average of just 1,25, the lowest among Roma coaches in the last 20 years.
