Gerson, meanwhile, made 40 appearances between League and cup competitions for Fiorentina, who have since returned the Brazilian to the Olimpico.
The Lupi would also face competition from Paris Saint-Germain, who see him as an ideal replacement for Juventus-bound Adrien Rabiot.
