Roma have released a statement revealing the details of striker Mattia Destro's loan move to Milan.

The 23-year-old today completed an initial loan switch to the Rossoneri, which was heavily reported to be costing the Milanese a first fee of €700,000, with a purchase option for the summer in excess of €16m.

However, the Giallorossi have communicated the actual figures agreed and reveal a slightly lower initial fee for the loan.

However, the Giallorossi have communicated the actual figures agreed and reveal a slightly lower initial fee for the loan.

“AS Roma S.p.A. communicate that they subscribed a contract with AC Milan for the loan of the player Mattia Destro, until June 30, 2015, for a settlement of €0.5 million”, reads their statement.

“The agreement also offers AC Milan the right for the player's complete acquisition starting from the season 2015/2016, for a fixed settlement of €16 million, plus a variable amount that may reach a maximum of €2 million, for bonuses contingent to certain sports targets being met.”
