Now the Giallorossi have qualified for the Champions League next season and Tottenham seem likely to miss out on that prestigious tournament once again.

According to UOL Esporte in Brazil, Roma boss Rudi Garcia is making a fresh bid to convince Paulinho of his project.

It is claimed the Coach sees him as the ideal figure for his 4-3-3 formation.

This season Paulinho made 26 Premier League appearances, scoring four goals, but has fallen down the pecking order recently.

Roma hope to attract the 25-year-old with the extensive Brazilian contingent at the club, including Douglas Maicon, Leandro Castan, Dodò, Rafael Toloi and Rodrigo Taddei.
